Important details about paint matching, dent repair, materials, and what we can safely repair.
Will the paint match my car and do you use bodyshop quality materials?
Yes. We use professional automotive and bodyshop paint systems with advanced colour matching technology to achieve a factory quality finish. These are the same professional products used daily in professional bodyshops and garages. This includes metallic, pearl, and solid colours. We do not use temporary, aerosol, or DIY repair methods.
Do you repair dents?
Yes, if the damage requires painting as part of the repair process. We repair dents using conventional SMART repair methods involving filling, shaping, and repainting where required.
Do you offer paintless dent removal (PDR)?
No. If the paint is not damaged, we would normally recommend a specialist PDR technician instead. For PDR enquiries, we can recommend a local specialist service provider.
Do you repair alloy wheels?
No. We specialise in vehicle body repairs only and are not set up for alloy wheel refurbishment.
Do you repair motorcycles?
No. We only specialise in car body repairs.
Do you repair bonnets and roofs?
No. We do not carry out bonnet or roof repairs because the bake lamps used during the curing process cannot properly reach the centre sections of these panels. Without proper curing, the finish would not meet our standards.
Do you repair electric vehicles (EVs)?
Yes, for smaller cosmetic repairs. However, larger dent damage on EVs that requires pin pulling or extensive metal work may need to go through insurance and a specialist EV approved repair centre for safety reasons.
Do you repair aluminium panels?
Yes, for smaller cosmetic repairs. Larger dents and heavy creases on aluminium panels are often unsuitable for mobile SMART repair methods and may require bodyshop repair or panel replacement.
What is blending?
Blending is where paint is lightly extended into an adjacent panel to ensure a seamless colour transition. This is sometimes required depending on the colour, repair location, and severity of the damage.
Will filler be used on dents?
Where necessary, yes. Modern body filler is a standard professional repair material used throughout the automotive repair industry when applied correctly.
